The European Conference on Rehabilitation (ECRI) aims at presenting the concept of rehabilitation with a European perspective within the framework of the United Nations′ Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Rehabilitation is a multi‐disciplinary process involving a variety of stakeholders; therefore the conference is geared towards Government, disabled persons, employers, insurers, rehabilitation‐professionals as well as medical practitioners.
We hope this conference will be a milestone in the implementation process of the UN‐convention with special focus on rehabilitation issues. We wish to present examples of good rehabilitation practice and scientific work from all areas: the health sector, social services, work and employment, educational field, recreation and physical activities as well as technology and accessibility. We encourage all with an interest in or knowledge from these areas to contact us to become part of this conference.

2. User Participation: market based, individual plans and social contracts, userperspectives
3. Rehabilitation as an Investment: inclusive labour market and the concept of flexicurity, early intervention, prevention, employer perspective, societal interests
