The “Workability International Conference 2012 Incorporating the Workability Asia Conference 2012 in Taiwan” (WI 2012) will be held in Taipei from June 18th to 20th.


Initiated by Eden Social Welfare Foundation and Workability International—Asia (WAS), the conference is centered on the theme of “the promotion of employment persons with disabilities under global economic recession.” Professionals from more than 30 countries within the network of WI will get together in Taipei to discuss strategies to tackle challenges in promoting rights of persons with disabilities.

Workability International (WI) is the world’s largest body representing providers of work and employment services to persons with disabilities. More than 3.8 million persons with disabilities are engaged in work programs delivered by WI’s 131 member organizations throughout 42 countries.
