MANILA, Philippines, Feb 20F@The Makati City government will launch on Feb. 23 its first–ever Search for Disabled–Friendly Tourist Establishments.
"It is also meant to enhance Makati's stature as a PWD–friendly city, while at the same time promoting the city's bid to be the preferred health and wellness destination in the country and in Asia," Mayor Jejomar Binay said on Friday.
At present, there are 2,697 persons with disabilities registered with the Makati Social Welfare Department.
